Murdoch University, located in Perth, Western Australia, is a leading Australian University. An international reputation for excellence in research and teaching performance and has been providing students with a world-class learning experience since 1975.

• Murdoch’s $3.7 million Law Building has Perth’s most modern Moot Court. Real cases are tried in a real court environment and the latest in video technology is used to collaborate with other Law Schools around the world via satellite.
• Murdoch’s $1.7 million Media Arts Centre features real TV and Radio studios, editing suites, post production facilities and more. For students wanting a job in the media, this is the place to learn.
• Engineering students get real-world plant experience at Murdoch’s amazing scaled engineering plant. It’s the only one of its kind in Perth (and currently one of the only plants of its kind on any university campus in the world).
• Students studying biotechnology can close the books and open their minds at the State Agricultural Biotechnology Centre, which provides access to incredible equipment and facilities for research and development. Chiropractic students at Murdoch are given arguably the best introduction to a career of anyone. Murdoch’s Chiropractic Clinic is one of the best in Perth with 11 consulting rooms and a fully equipped gym. Students work with Government registered Chiropractors on real patients.
• For those students whose passions lie with four legged creatures, Murdoch’s veterinary facilities are world famous. The University currently has an entire working farm, a vet clinic open to the public, a fully equipped Veterinary Hospital (complete with Cancer and Dermatology Clinics), a Pet Emergency Centre with ‘Animal ER’ services, and a world class Equine Centre with WA’s only equine operating theatres.

The main Murdoch University campus, known as the South Street Campus, is located just 15km south of Perth city centre and 8km east of the beautiful port city of Fremantle.

The campus is set in a beautiful environment and covers over 227 hectares, making it the largest campus in Australia. Bush Court, in the centre of the campus, is the hub, providing many shady spots for outside tutorials or quiet study opportunities, as well as being surrounded by cafes and restaurants, student support facilities and the University’s extensive libraries.

Students at the South Street campus have access to a large range of facilities and support services as well as numerous computing labs and a wireless network.

Students at Murdoch can combine almost every degree offered by the University with another area to enable them to take a double major or double degree.
In most cases, a double major won’t take any longer than the time it takes to finish a single major. This allows Murdoch students to be more employable because they have two skill sets, without it taking them any longer or costing them any more.
